Show off your Carleton degree to friends, family and potential employers with your very own Carleton alumni email address. Sign up for @alumni, our new email for alumni service—offered in partnership with Google—and you’ll receive a professional new email address that shows the world you’re a Carleton graduate.

@alumni is offered through Google’s powerful Gmail application, which means you get access to all its unique features—storage, easy web access, spam filters, calendars and more. But it’s not quite the same as a regular Gmail account. There’s no advertising, and instead of @gmail.com, your address will end in @alumni.carleton.ca.

Here’s how to sign up in five easy steps:

• Fill out the online request form here—and be sure to provide your current email address so we can send you instructions.
• After your request is submitted, you should receive a confirmation email at the address you provided. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at cu_proud@carleton.ca. NOTE: This confirmation email does NOT mean your alumni email account has been created. It just means your request has been received.
• Your application will be processed at Carleton University, and an email address will be created.
• Within the next 2-5 business days, you will receive your new email account confirmation, including your email address, a temporary password and login information.
• Open your account, change your password, and start sending!
