The A.D. Dunton Alumni Award of Distinction is Carleton’s highest alumni honour. It is given annually by the Carleton University Alumni Association (CUAA) to a graduate in recognition of outstanding achievement or contribution in any field of endeavour.

Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award
The deadline for nominations for this award is April 15, 2013.
Part 1: Nominee's Information
The Alumni Volunteer of the Year award was established in 2004 to recognize one of the university’s greatest assets—our dedicated alumni volunteers. The award is given annually to an active member of the Carleton University Alumni Association whose spirit and commitment to Carleton are exemplary.
Guidelines
Nominators should demonstrate how the nominee has made a difference to the University by identifying the length of their volunteer involvement, areas of concentration and examples of the nominee’s loyalty and commitment.
Eligibility Guidelines
- A Carleton University graduate.
- Candidates may be re-nominated for up to five consecutive years.
- Past recipients are not eligible for a duplicate award, but may be eligible for other Carleton University Alumni Association (CUAA) Awards.
- All nomination packages shall be kept confidential.
Nomination Package
The selection process is lead by the Director, Alumni and Donor Relations.
A nomination package must include the following:
- Completed nomination form.
- Additional supporting documentation nominators deem appropriate.
