Jodi White, former chief of staff to the prime minister, past president of the Public Policy Forum and, most recently, resident scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C., returned to her alma mater as a distinguished senior fellow in residence at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs.

Few careers have been so distinguished in so many respects: in the media, politics, the private sector and the stewardship of public policy debate.

White has been a television news reporter and senior radio producer for the CBC, chief of staff to the minister of foreign affairs and the prime minister, vice-president of corporate affairs for Imasco Ltd. and custodian of thoughtful, informed national debate in her capacity as president of the Public Policy Forum.

White serves on a number of not-for- profit boards, including the National Theatre School of Canada, the Canadian International Council, the Trans Canada Trail and Tides Canada.

In 2008, she was named one of the top 100 most influential women in Canada by the Women’s Executive Network.
