One of Canada’s most respected financial authors and the nation’s leading expert on mutual funds, Gordon Pape’s interest in personal finance carried him from a career of political analysis in Quebec City, Ottawa, and London, England with the Montreal Gazette and Southam News Services to full-time financial writing.

Over his career, he authored or co-authored more than a dozen investment books including his annual buyer’s guides to RRSPs and mutual funds which were Canadian bestsellers for many years. His best-selling investment books include 6 Steps to $1 Million, Get Control of Your Money, and the recently published Retirement Time Bomb.

He is also the co-author of three novels and the Heritage Canada award-winning non-fiction work Montreal at the Crossroads. His most recent project is Quizmas: Christmas Trivia Family Fun and a companion book, Family Quizmas, to be published in fall 2006 by Penguin Canada and Plume Books in the U.S.

Pape is the editor and publisher of three investment newsletters, the Internet Wealth Builder, The Income Investor, and Mutual Funds Update. He is a columnist for Fifty-Plus magazine, The Fund Library, and GlobeinvestorGOLD.com and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs across Canada.
