David Morley is the president and CEO of UNICEF Canada.

The history grad has spent his entire career helping make the world a better place for disadvantaged children. After graduating from Carleton, he went to volunteer with street children in Latin America. “I had thought I would come back to do a graduate degree. I never came back. The children just captivated me and directed me to what has ended up becoming a career.” His work has taken him from forgotten outposts of poverty and despair to some of the world’s major disasters and on to the corridors of power at the UN and Parliament Hill.
