Bruce McLennan, is the former Deputy Minister of Finance for the Yukon Government (retired). Bruce came to the Yukon in 1980 after beginning his career with Revenue Canada in Ottawa and Vancouver, and holding the position of manager, Revenue and Taxation for the Government of the Northwest Territories.

After several years as Assistant Deputy Minister, Financial Operations (Comptroller) with the Yukon Government, he was seconded to the federal Department of Indian and Northern Affairs in Ottawa to help develop fiscal arrangements with the territorial governments and to manage the Northern Oil and Gas Action Program. His return to the Government of Yukon was as Assistant Deputy Minister, Fiscal Relations and Management Board Secretariat. He was subsequently appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services and Deputy Minister of Education.
In his semi-retirement, on Vancouver Island, Bruce has completed a number of consulting assignments for the Federal, BC, NWT and Yukon Governments as well as the AG of Canada. He is also the Chair of the Yukon Utilities Board.
McLennan, a ski instructor and alpine racing coach, has also been involved with community not-for-profit organizations including his current involvement on the Board of Director of CMA British Columbia.
After earning his commerce degree at Carleton, McLennan received the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and his MBA from Royal Roads University.
