From his first job teaching people to use computers at the Ottawa Public Library, to starting his career at Nortel Networks, Alam has always been involved in computer systems. As business manager for Fidus, a company specializing in high-speed electronic product development, he was responsible for the design and execution of Fidus’ Silicon Valley penetration strategy. The result is sustained year-over-year revenue growth and the highest company margins.

Alam was named one of Ottawa’s Top Forty under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal in 2009.
