Hicham Adra , BEng / 87

In 2005, Hicham Adra was the volunteer campaign chair for United Way/Centraide, Ottawa’s largest fundraising campaign. Under his leadership, the campaign raised more than $25 million. Adra is also a member of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s board of directors.

A leader in the business world, Adra is senior vice-president and general manager, National Capital Region and Western Canada, for CGI and is leader of the CGI Executive Council on Public Sector. CGI is a world-class leader in information technology and business process services with the expertise and capabilities to serve the needs of businesses and governments of all sizes.

Adra obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Systems and Computer Engineering, from Carleton University in 1987, at which point he joined CGI.
