Whether you’re a new graduate or well into your career, you may need employment support—now and in the future. That’s where we come in.

All alumni can take advantage of the following services and programs:

• access to job postings on myCareer, our online job search system;
• access to OptimalResumé, our new online program to help you build high-impact résumés based on your career goals or your major;
• access to the Resource Centre, which houses a wealth of in-house and online materials to help you prepare your job search;
• access to our full suite of career and employment workshops;
• admission to a variety of career-related events, such as our three annual Career Fairs, networking events and activities, and more;
• one-on-one career counselling.

How Do I Access myCareer?

Recent Alumni

• Simply login to your Carleton Central account
• Select the myCareer link beside “Other Services”
• Accept the transfer of information statement
• You are now automatically logged in and your account has been created

Alumni

• If you graduated before Carleton Central was implemented, then you need to access myCareer from the Carleton Cafe.
• Login or create an account at Carleton Cafe From the main login page follow the link to myCareer

Join the Career Connection program

Now that you’re an alumni and well on your career, consider giving back by providing career advice and information to a Carleton student. Connect with a student who is interested in your chosen field by providing them with them real world career advice just by sharing your career experiences and tips.The program is in partnership with the Career Development & Co-operative Education Office and the Carleton University Alumni Association.
